We started our own design studio Tunto / Oranen & Turklin with Mikko Kärkkäinen in 1999 when we all studied in Design Institute of Lahti Polytechnic. After few years Mikko Kärkkäinen focused on manufacturing custom made furniture under Tunto brand and we focused on spatial design at Oranen & Turklin. Tunto executed most of our project furnitures over ten years before targeting on led-light products. Today Tunto has wide range of awarded Led -light designs on the market and we continue our close co-work in our projects. Mari studied fashion design and Oskari furniture design in Lahti and we have done spatial design projects since we started in 1999. 

Oskari also studied industrial and strategic design in Aalto University. With years of experience we can offer our clients a turn-key solutions which gives us clear benefits to target budget more accurate. We have designed wide range of custom made interiors, furnitures, textiles, lightning solutions, company looks, private houses including architectural concepts to fulfil clients expectations. Over the years during design and building processes we are accustomed to communicate with different contractors and professionals of expertise which enables fluid and real time communication between client, designer and contractor.
